About Kindbody
Kindbody is one calm place for straight, sourced facts about intimate health. It's for teens aged 13 to 18 who were assigned female at birth, including trans, nonbinary and intersex teens, and especially anyone who can't ask a parent or doesn't want to. Every page uses the pronouns and body words picked at the top.
Has a medic checked this?
No. No doctor or other medical person has checked this site. It was checked by AI against medical sources, not by a doctor. The small line under a paragraph shows what that check found. "Verified with" means it found the same thing at two different medical institutions or, for a fact about one country, at that country's own. "Source" means it found one institution. "Not confirmed by a medical institution" means it found none.
Where the facts come from
Every medical claim is tied to a quoted sentence from a named source. Facts come from big medical organisations first: places like the NHS, the World Health Organization, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Mayo Clinic, the CDC and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, plus peer-reviewed papers.
Sometimes medical organisations don't cover something, like binding or some parts of queer safer sex. Only then does a page use a community health organisation, and its footnote carries a "community health org" tag so it's easy to see.
The small numbers after a sentence are footnotes. They lead to the source at the bottom of the page, so anyone can open it and check the claim.
Some topics, such as care for trans teens, differ by country, and experts disagree. The pages say so where it matters.

Not medical advice
Kindbody is not a medical organisation. It can't examine anyone or diagnose anything. For what needs a real check, and how soon, see When to see a doctor. For someone to talk to, see Get help.
Privacy
- No tracking, no analytics and no cookies. Kindbody has no accounts and doesn't send anything back to anyone.
- Pages load nothing from other sites, not even fonts. Something outside only opens after clicking a footnote, a source name or a service link, or using Quick exit, which goes to a Google search for kittens.
- The only thing stored is the pronoun and body-word choices, on this device. With Remember off, which is the default, they're forgotten when the tab closes. With it on, they stay until it's turned off or Quick exit is used.
- Whatever serves a website can see that a page was asked for, and so can whoever runs the network. Get help has more on keeping this private.
